Zantek Information Technology Inc., a full-service IT company, today announced an agreement to implement SAP® Business One at Sexton Group Ltd., an independently-owned buying group for building material dealers, hardware retailers, specialty dealers, and manufactured structure specialists. SAP Business One is an enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution that integrates core business management functions, including financials, sales, customer relationship management, inventory, and operations.

Sexton Group’s more than 300 members purchase building materials from more than 200 suppliers, for which it manages rebate and discount programs. With approximately 40,000 transactions per year, the company needs to eliminate manual data entry to streamline processes and reduce time-consuming errors. “SAP Business One will reduce Sexton’s administrative overhead so they can focus on value-add initiatives for their members,” said Ron Mondor, President at Zantek. “Plus, we’re layering on customer access to an industry-specific rebate management system, which will dramatically improve the member experience.”
Since all core business functions are consolidated in SAP Business One, the software offers robust reporting features. A dashboard view gives managers instant access to accurate, real-time data so they can easily manage operations. It also includes mobile features to remotely access critical business information.
