New Technology Magazine focused on Zantek’s success in helping clients gain cost-saving efficiencies in an article for the July/August 2011 issue. It describes how Zantek teamed with Red Deer-based Collicutt Compressions Solutions to implement SAP Business One software that integrates all of its core business functions.
“SAP significantly improved our efficiency in month-end reporting,” says Ryan Krutzfeldt, corporate controller with Collicutt. “In our previous system it would take us about two weeks to complete. With SAP, we have narrowed it down to a few days.” The article notes additional benefits, such as faster and more accurate decision making and improved information sharing through centralized accounting and financial controls.
In describing SAP Business One, Zantek President Ron Mondor says, “It is an accounting package but it also does inventory control, financing and budgeting, and also operational stuff such as work orders, field orders, tickets, and inventory management, so it’s pretty much a complete package for small- and medium-sized business on the administration and operations side.”
